Abstract

The life of Sensor Network (SN) is mainly dependent upon power consumption. If the power dependence is managed efficiently, the network can go on for longer. Different protocols have been developed for power reduction of the sensor networks which have greatly minimized the power consumption of the said networks. Analysis of different routing protocols in WSN, and the results show major advancement in the life span of wireless sensor networks. In this paper classification and comparison of routing protocols in reduction of power consumption in wireless sensor networks will be present.
